The purpose of this project was to corroborate the importance of the writing skill during the students’ learning process of the foreign language. The develop of the writing is something fundamental and essential to communicate and also for students to feel comfortable to participate and interact in class. To detect the problem some techniques and instruments of investigation where used, like survey, an interview. The results of the survey made to the students proved that there is a deficiency in the writing skill because the english teacher do not use techniques that to catch the attention of students he agree that writing plays an important role when students want to express themselves in a writing way and also it was mention that teachers do not receive any extra material from the school to reinforce vocabulary or the writing skill. At the survey was taken to the students. Finally a system of activities was created to contribute with extra exercises for students to acquire vocabulary and also to develop the writing skillEsta investigación fue realizada en la Escuela Jose Salcedo Delgado tomando como muestra a los 39 alumnos de Septimo curso. El propósito de este proyecto fue corroborar la importancia de la habilidad escrita en el aprendizaje del Idioma Ingles. El desarrollo de la escritura es algo fundamental y esencial para comunicarse y también para que los alumnos se sientan cómodos para participar e interactuar en clase. Ciertos instrumentos de investigación fueron usados para detectar el problema, tales como: la encuesta, entrevista. Los resultados de la encuesta realizada a los estudiantes probaron que existe una deficiencia en la habilidad escrita ya que la Maestra no cuenta con técnicas que capten la atención del estudiante. Mediante la entrevista realizada al docente de inglés el estuvo de acuerdo en que la escritura juega un rol importante cuando los estudiantes quieren expresarse de manera escrita y también mencionó que los docentes no reciben material extra para reforzar vocabulario o la escritura. Al final se realizó la encuesta a los estudiante.
