En el estudio se realizó una investigación con enfoque cualitativo, no experimental y de carácter exploratorio. La muestra elegida para el presente proyecto fue una población de 13 participantes del área de talento humano de una empresa de servicio fúnebres. Los instrumentos que se utilizaron fueron una encuesta sociodemográfica, una entrevista semiestructurada dirigida hacia la flexibilidad laboral y el cuestionario de compromiso de Meyer y Allen. Los hallazgos encontrados indican que los colaboradores presentan un alto nivel de compromiso, responsabilidad y cumplimiento con las tareas asignadas correspondientes a su rol de trabajo dentro de la organización, gracias a la política de la flexibilidad laboral implementada. Así mismo, se evidenció que en los colaboradores existe una relación directa entre la flexibilidad y el compromiso organizacionalThe objective of this research project is to analyze the relationship between labor flexibility and the organizational commitment of the collaborators of the human talent area of a funeral services company in the city of Guayaquil. The study was carried out with a qualitative, non-experimental and exploratory approach. The sample chosen for this project was a population of 13 participants from the human talent area of a funeral service company. The instruments used were a sociodemographic survey, a semi-structured interview directed towards labor flexibility and the Meyer and Allen commitment questionnaire. The findings indicate that the employees show a high level of commitment, responsibility and compliance with the assigned tasks corresponding to their work role within the organization, thanks to the labor flexibility policy implemented.
