En este periodo, buscan su identidad ante alteraciones psicológicas que en varios casos pueden aparecer síntomas en relación con la depresión La investigación se enfoca en determinar los niveles y síntomas de la depresión en adolescentes escolarizados de 12 a 15 años de edad. A su vez, identificar los niveles de la depresión y comparar por edad y sexo. Este trabajo de investigación se empleó con un enfoque cuantitativo, con una muestra de 32 estudiantes, mediante el uso de un instrumento estandarizado para su posterior análisis, con la finalidad de determinar los niveles y síntomas de la depresión en adolescentes.
