Se comenzó por el levantamiento de la información mediante encuestas y observación de las actividades de los operarios y sus puestos de trabajo. Luego se realizo un Análisis de los Factores de Riesgos para cada sección. Con esa información en el capítulo 3, se realizaron los estudios necesarios para determina el impacto que tiene cada uno de estos riesgos mediante el método de FINE y el método Gretener para evaluación de Riesgos de Incendios. Se determino que no los puntos con mayores riesgos eran las áreas de Extrusión y Corte – Sellado. En cuanto al Riesgo de Incendio de acuerdo al método Gretener el resultado de la prueba fue de 1. Entre las soluciones propuestas esta la implementación de un Departamento de Ingeniería Industrial que este encargado de la seguridad de la planta, un Reglamento de Seguridad Industrial, una Brigada contra incendios para mejorar la seguridad de la planta, compra de Equipos de Protección Personal para ciertas áreas de la planta y la capacitación del personal en el uso de equipos de protección personal. Finalmente luego de realizar el análisis de costo beneficio con un costo de la propuesta de $11952.00 y un beneficio actualizado de $15900.00 se obtuvo que el costo beneficio es de 1.33.This thesis begins with the request of the General Manager of the company HIDALPLAST SA, Jorge Hidalgo, who in his empreño doing more productive business request that a study be conducted in the area of Security Industrial. It began with the lifting of the information through surveys and observation of the activities of operators and their jobs. then an Analysis of Risk Factors for each section was performed. with that information in Chapter 3, the necessary studies were performed to determine the impact of each of these risks by the method of FINE and Gretener method for Fire Risk Assessment. It was determined that no points were the most at risk areas Extrusion and Cutting - Stamping. in As for Fire Hazard Gretener method according to the result of the test was 1. Among the proposed solutions is the implementation of a Industrial Engineering Department that the responsible for security of the plant, Regulation of Industrial Security, a Fire Brigade for improve plant safety, purchase Personal Protective Equipment for certain areas of the plant and staff training in the use of equipment personal protection.
