| spelling | Manifestaciones dentales en pacientes con anorexia y bulimiaVera Vargas, Selena JoselynANOREXIABULIMIAMANIFESTACIONES BUCALESPDFLa presente investigación bibliográfica aborda el tema de manifestaciones dentales en pacientes con anorexia y bulimia, debido a los problemas habituales presentados en jóvenes y adultos, creándose una estrecha relación entre la mala alimentación y la desnutrición, trayendo consigo consecuencias que afectan en el desarrollo de la salud dental, psicológica y social. Los signos y síntomas que acompañan a estas enfermedades son de principal influencia a nivel bucal, donde se presentan manifestaciones dentarias tales como; erosión, caries, bruxismo, gingivitis, sialoadenitis, queilosis y xerostomía. El objetivo principal de la investigación fue analizar las manifestaciones a nivel de salud buco-dental con la incidencia de los trastornos alimenticios: anorexia y bulimia. El diseño de investigación empleado fue de carácter documental-bibliográfico, centrado en la búsqueda de información en sitios webs, revistas indexadas, artículos científicos. En base a los resultados se obtuvo que; los trastornos alimenticios tratados en la presente temática investigativa como la anorexia y la bulimia afectan en el mayor de los casos a mujeres adolescentes, entre las manifestaciones más frecuentes se destaca, las alteraciones en la mucosa bucal, la erosión del esmalte, y la xerostomía. Las conclusiones mantuvieron su enfoque en la descripción de cada una de las manifestaciones dentales, su grado de afectación, el diagnóstico y tratamiento de las mismas, en aquellos pacientes con trastornos alimenticios graves como son la anorexia y la bulimia, llegando a la conclusión de que es un trabajo de suma importancia, que el odontólogo debe identificar y manejarlo en conjunto con otros profesionales médicosThe current bibliographic investigation adresses the subject of oral manifestations in patients with anorexia and bulimia, due to de textbook problems in youth and adults, thus creating a tigh relation between bad eating habits and malnutrition, bringing within itself consequences that affect in the oral, psychological and social realms of health. Signs and symptoms that go with theese pathologies are mainly influencial in an oral level, where manifestations such as cavities, bruxism, gingivitis, sialadenitis, cheilosis, xerostomía. The main objective of this investigation was to analyze manifestations in the domain of mouth- teeth health and its relations towards of eating disorders: anorexia and bulimia. The model of investigation used is of bibliographical-documentary nature, focused in search in web sites, indexed journals and scientific articles Based on the obtained results, the eating disorders mentioned in this research exercise anorexia and bulimia affect mostly teen to young women . among the more frequent manifestations, alterings in the buccal mucosa, enamel erosion and xerostomía take the lead.
