It presents outstanding arguments through a bibliographical analysis that reveals the background, foundations and methodology for the proper application of this resource. It also offers a statistical analysis of data collected through the application of a survey, interview and observation that describe the situation of these students in said skill. It proposes as a solution a Didactic Guide with methodological orientations for the appropriate use of audiobooks. This proposal can be extended to similar learning contexts.Este estudio registra el análisis acerca de cómo los audiolibros influyen en el mejoramiento de las habilidades auditivas en el proceso de aprendizaje del inglés, en estudiantes de 8° grado de Educación General Básica del Colegio Esteban Cordero Borrero de Fe y Alegría, de la ciudad de Guayaquil. Presenta argumentos sobresalientes a través de un análisis bibliográfico que revela los antecedentes, fundamentos y metodología para la correcta aplicación de este recurso. También ofrece un análisis estadístico de los datos recolectados a través de la aplicación de una encuesta, entrevista y observación que describen la situación de estos estudiantes en dicha habilidad. Propone como solución una Guía Didáctica con orientaciones metodológicas para el uso adecuado de los audiolibros. Esta propuesta puede extenderse a contextos de aprendizaje similares.Universidad de Guayaquil.
