The learning of the English language implies the development of linguistic skills which is fundamental to be able to communicate with other people, however in the course of this research a large percentage of students with incidences of oral expression due to the lack of vocabulary were evidenced, all this was determined through the application of research instruments such as observation, survey, and interview which yielded results that support this project. To conclude, according to the information obtained in the statistical analysis, a pedagogical resource was designed in the form of a didactic guide to improve and motivate the development of oral expression in students with level A1, through a series of activities that will help during the teaching and learning process.Este proyecto de investigación se ha realizado con el fin de determinar la influencia del vocabulario para el desarrollo de la expresión oral de los estudiantes de 8º grado de la "Unidad Educativa Fiscal Carlos Julio Arosemena Tola" periodo académico 2022-2023. El aprendizaje del idioma inglés implica el desarrollo de habilidades lingüísticas lo cual es fundamental para poder comunicarse con otras personas, sin embargo en el transcurso de esta investigación se evidenció un gran porcentaje de estudiantes con incidencias en la expresión oral debido a la falta de vocabulario, todo esto se determinó a través de la aplicación de instrumentos de investigación como la observación, la encuesta y la entrevista los cuales arrojaron resultados que sustentan este proyecto. Para concluir, de acuerdo a la información obtenida en el análisis estadístico, se diseñó un recurso pedagógico en forma de guía didáctica para mejorar y motivar el desarrollo de la expresión oral en los estudiantes con nivel A1, a través de una serie de actividades que ayudarán durante el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje.Universidad de Guayaquil.
