Rescatando el valor ancestral que tiene un alto contenido cultural debido a sus prácticas de antaño, ya que al puerto la mayoría lo visita por obtener un pescado fresco y de mejor precio, dejando a un lado los recurso que posee como la playa y el estero. Como objetivo principal de este trabajo se plantea analizar la pesca artesanal como atractivo cultural. Consecuentemente se utiliza la metodología con enfoque mixto cualitativo y cuantitativo, con contenidos teóricos y empíricos sin dejar a un lado los instrumentos y las herramientas que son necesarias para obtener información de primera mano, tal y como la encuesta que se realizó a 384 personas que son la demanda potencial mediante la fórmula infinita. La información que se recopilo fue tabulada y mediante análisis se pudo generar la propuesta, que busca dar a conocer nuevos atractivos turísticos culturales mediante la implementación de paquetes turísticos con actividades para desarrollar el turismo vivencial en la comuna Puerto Chanduy.The current research was carried out in the Puerto Chanduy commune which is located in the province of Santa Elena, parish of Chanduy at the border of the Pacific Ocean, where artisanal fishing is performed as the main social economic activity despite having a busy concurrence of locals and foreigners, has the problematic of not knowing artisanal fishing as a cultural attraction for the growth of the community in the tourism field. Rescuing the ancestral value that has a high cultural content due to its ancient practices, since the majority visit the port to obtain a fresh fish for a better price, leaving aside the resources that it possesses like the beach and the estuary. The main objective of this research is to analyze artisanal fishing as a cultural attraction. Consequently, the methodology used is a mixed qualitative and quantitative approach, with theoretical and empirical contents without leaving aside the instruments and tools that are necessary to obtain first-hand information, such as the survey performed to 384 people who are the potential demand through the infinite formula.
