El uso de esta tecnología no solamente radica en la cantidad de usuarios que poseen un teléfono o un celular sino en la calidad de servicio que ofrecen a un costo bajo. Todos estos organismos en todo momento necesitan el servicio telefónico que esté disponible, sea accesible sin interrupciones o congestionamiento y sea fácil de usar manteniendo la seguridad y escalabilidad en el tiempo. Debido a los grandes avances tecnológicos constantes, y siendo parte de ésta innovación se implementa un sistema de telefonía de voz sobre el protocolo de internet, solución adecuada para la problemática que tiene la Carrera de Ingeniería en Sistemas Computacionales y networking, siendo un gran impulso para la mejora de la Institución. Antes de llevar a cabo dicha implementación del sistema de voz sobre ip, se hizo un estudio previo de los recursos a utilizar, tales como el servidor, los teléfonos ip, tarjeta de comunicación telefónica, medio de comunicación, y software open source que me permita gestionar las llamadas telefónicas.Telephone service is an indispensable means of communication at any time, from home, educational institutions (universities, colleges, schools), businesses of all kinds (government and private companies), even for personal use. The use of this technology lies not only in the number of users that have a phone or a cell but in the quality of service offered at a low cost. All these bodies at all times need phone service to be available, accessible, uninterrupted or congestion and is easy to use and scalability while maintaining security over time. Due to the large constant technological advances, and being part of this innovative system of voice over internet protocol, appropriate solution to the problem that has the Engineering Degree in Computer Systems Networking and is implemented to be a big boost for improving the institution. Before carrying out such implementation of voice over ip, was a preliminary study of resource use, such as the server, ip phone, card phone communication, media, and open source software that will let me managing telephone calls.Universidad de Guayaquil.
