Esta red de sensores inalámbricos se diseña bajo el estándar Zigbee presentes en los módulos XBee que brindan un medio inalámbrico, estos dispositivos cumplen una su función determinada en la red según su configuración ya sea el nodo final encargado de recopilar la información, el nodo router que encamina los paquetes y el nodo coordinador que recepta la información para posteriormente ser almacenada en una Raspberry por medio de Python. En este trabajo se utiliza la recopilación de información a través de encuestas a los estudiantes, docentes y personal administrativos de la facultada con la finalidad de determinar la necesidad de la red. Con los resultados obtenidos en las pruebas de funcionamiento que se presentan en el capítulo 4, en este documento se evidencia que al momento de utilizar una red malla se obtiene redundancia en la red, del mismo modo los pruebas determinaron según la ubicación de los módulos una latencia mínima esto da como resultado un diseño funcional de bajos recursos energéticos logrando conectar de forma inalámbrica a toda la facultad.The objective of this document is to design a WSN network that allows the transmission of diverse monitored data from the classrooms of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the University of Guayaquil. This wireless sensor network is designed under the Zigbee standard present in the XBee modules that provide a wireless environment, these devices fulfill a certain function in the network according to their configuration, either the final node in charge of collecting information, the router node that routes the packets and the coordinator node that receives the information to be later stored in a Raspberry through Python. This work uses the collection of information through surveys of students, teachers and administrative staff of the faculty in order to determine the need for the network. With the results obtained in the performance tests presented in Chapter 4, this document shows that when using a mesh network, network redundancy is obtained. Similarly, the tests determined a minimum latency according to the location of the modules, which results in a functional design with low energy resources, achieving a wireless connection to the entire faculty.Universidad de Guayaquil.
