Quito y Pedro Moncayo, durante los meses de octubre a diciembre del 2017, se trabajó con una población de seis adultos mayores de 65 a 74 años de edad, personal del Ministerio de Inclusión Económica y Social (MIES),y pasantes de psicología, tuvo como objetivo general determinar los factores psicosociales de mayor incidencia que influyeron en el adulto mayor para así mejorar su calidad de vida. El objeto sistematizado se basó en los factores psicosociales que influyen en la calidad de vida de los Adultos Mayores. El eje de sistematización se enfocó en los cambios de los adultos mayores por el influjo de los factores psicosociales en su calidad de vida. La perspectiva metodológica aplicada fue cualitativa con un diseño de investigación acción y un alcance descriptivo se utilizó una muestra por conveniencia; posteriormente se aplicaron seis test; que incluyó evaluación cognitiva, independencia, autoestima y depresión. El resultado obtenido de la sistematización cómo factores psicosociales de mayor incidencia fueron: inactividad, depresión, soledad, Viudez y bajos recursos económicos. Los resultados de la experiencia permitieron reflexionar sobre los factores psicosociales y calidad de vida en los Adultos Mayores permitiendo una intervención equilibrada entre la teoría y la práctica. Los aprendizajes adquiridos en el proceso permitieron entender los cambios que tienen los adultos mayores en la calidad de vida y a su vez desarrollar habilidades para una correcta intervenciónThis work was carried out in the city of Guayaquil in the "Nuevo Rumbo de Técnicos Activistas Comunitarios" Foundation (NURTAC), located in Ayacucho 1206 between Av.
