Esta sistematización tiene como finalidad analizar la importancia de la participación comunitaria en el proceso de familiarización. La metodología aplicada en este trabajo se fundamentada en un enfoque cualitativo con carácter inductivo orientada en el proceso hacia la interpretación critica. Se utilizó como fuentes de información diarios de campo, entrevista, observación y memorias técnicas de prácticas anteriores. Una vez establecido cronológicamente las actividades que responde a nuestro eje y valorado las tensiones y contradicciones, se prosiguió con la triangulación de los aspectos teóricos donde la participación pasiva fue la más reflejada en esta experiencia, pero durante el desarrollo del proceso se percibió un aumento progresivo en actividades diseñadas en las fases de identificación, jerarquización de necesidades y devolución de resultados, aunque correspondan a las últimas fases del proyecto se logra una familiarización y participación, evidenciando una óptima habituación o naturalización. En base a la interpretación critica se puede concluir que el proceso de familiarización no tiene un tiempo estipulado, pero si bien en el proyecto se lo delimita por fechas durante la ejecución, se evidenció que es un proceso extenso debido a que continuamente se está desarrollando un vínculo entre agentes a través los canales de comunicación y una constante interacciónThe objective of the present work was to execute the familiarization phase in the intervention put through in the community of Oramas Gonzales - Durán, its axis of study being How did community participation influence the effective process in the familiarization phase? Its purpose was to focus on the development of the familiarization process and the type of participation of the members of the community, associating it closely to their psychological sense of community in order to understand the experience carried out in the period from June to September 2019 more deeply. This systematization aims to analyze the importance of community participation in the familiarization process in the Oramas Gonzales community in Durán. The methodology applied in this work is based on a qualitative approach with a process oriented inductive character, prioritizing the use of primary sources, as well as: field diaries, interview, observation, systematization of the PPP and the Scale of sense of community. Once the activities that respond to our axis had been chronologically established and the positive and negative aspects were valued, the triangulation of the theoretical aspects of the literary review was carried out and it was determined that community participation is a fundamental basis for the development of an effective familiarization.
