El tipo de investigación usado en este trabajo es cuali - cuantitativo de diseño no experimental de tipo transversal, por medio de historias clínicas y una entrevista realizada por vía telefónica. Con los resultados obtenidos vamos a conocer el nivel de satisfacción del paciente ante su tratamiento, farmacoterapia y rehabilitación inicial en el postoperatorio tardío de la fractura de radio distal. Los resultados fueron tabulados por medio de gráficos estadísticos en los que se interpretó por medio de porcentajes el grado de satisfacción. Se concluyó con los resultados obtenidos de los pacientes entrevistados para esta investigación que estos estuvieron satisfechos con el tratamiento quirúrgico empleado por el médico cirujano, con la rehabilitación empleada y con la medicación recetada en el tiempo postquirúrgico tardío.Fractures of the distal radius can represent up to 15% of all bone injuries treated in emergency rooms, this being the most frequent fracture in the upper limb, becoming an injury of great social and medical relevance, since it directly affects the individual and work activities, thus modifying the quality of life of the patient. The type of research used in this work is qualitative - quantitative of a non-experimental design of a cross-sectional type, through medical records and an interview conducted by telephone. With the results obtained, we are going to know the level of patient satisfaction with their treatment, pharmacotherapy and initial rehabilitation in the late postoperative period of the distal radius fracture. The results were tabulated by means of statistical graphs in which the degree of satisfaction was interpreted by means of percentages. It was concluded with the results obtained from the patients interviewed for this research that they were satisfied with the surgical treatment used by the surgeon, with the rehabilitation used and with the medication prescribed in the late postoperative period.Universidad de Guayaquil.
