Este trabajo busca responder a la interrogante ‘‘¿qué procesos realizaron los docentes para poder adaptarse a la modalidad de educación virtual dirigida a estudiantes de nivel medio?’’. Las técnicas e instrumentos aplicados fueron entrevistas, encuestas y cuestionarios. Por medio de los datos obtenidos, se analizaron y redactaron las vivencias de cinco docentes mayores de 25 años, que imparten clases en el nivel secundario, sección femenina de la institución educativa seleccionada, finalmente se concluyó que la adaptación docente a la educación virtual se caracteriza por dos procesos que interactúan y están influenciados por factores psicosociales presentes en el ámbito laboral del docenteThe present research paper is developed under the modality of case analysis. It was done under the qualitative methodology which objective was to describe the adaptation to the virtual education in teachers of a high school in the city of Guayaquil. This investigation pretends to respond to the interrogative such as ‘‘what process did the teachers do in order to adapt to the virtual education meant to students in a high school educative level?’’ The techniques and tools used were interviews,surveys and questionnaires. After collecting the data, the experiences faced by five teachers over 25 years of age, who teach in secondary school, in the female section of the selected educational institution, were analyzed and written.
