Rafael Lalama in the 2019-2020 school year, which has difficulties in the development of the speaking skills in English classes. The theoretical framework is based on the conception of speaking skill, its importance, its implications, the different theories that indicate how it can be developed in the classroom, as well as the influence of multiple intelligences to achieve this goal. On the other hand, the theoretical framework also describes the influence of music on adolescents and the importance of using musical activities in the classroom. For the data collection, a fieldwork was carried out and a survey of twenty-seven students and an interview with an English teacher and the chairman of the high school was applied as an instrument. Statistical tables were tabulated and designed for the analysis of the survey results. Bibliographic research is based on the consultation conducted on scientific material regarding the subject of study. This project is also based on a type of exploratory research because it investigates the appropriate activities for the development of English language skills. The proposal frames a didactic guide with various musical activities to strengthen the development of speaking skills in the aforementioned students, which is innovative and widely accepted proposal in the educational fieldEl presente trabajo investigativo tiene la intención de brindar una guía a los profesores de idioma Inglés en el uso de material didáctico con actividades musicales en estudiantes de Octavo Grado Paralelo “Delta” del Liceo Naval de Guayaquil Cmndte. Rafael Lalama en el año lectivo 2019-2020, los cuales tienen dificultades en el desarrollo de la habilidad de hablar en las clases de Inglés. El marco teórico se fundamenta en la concepción de la destreza del habla, su importancia, sus implicaciones, las diferentes teorías que indican cómo se la puede desarrollar en el aula, así como la influencia de las inteligencias múltiples para lograr este objetivo. Por otro lado, el marco teórico también describe la influencia de la música en los adolescentes y la importancia de usar actividades musicales en el aula de clases. Para la recolección de datos se hizo un trabajo de campo y se aplicó como instrumento una encuesta a veintisiete estudiantes y una entrevista a un docente del área de Inglés y al rector del plantel educativo. Se tabuló y se diseñó cuadros estadísticos para el análisis de los resultados de la encuesta. La investigación bibliográfica se fundamenta en la consulta realizada sobre material científico referente al tema de estudio. Este proyecto además está basado en un tipo de investigación exploratoria porque se indaga sobre las actividades apropiadas para el desarrollo de la destreza del habla en idioma Inglés.
