El presente análisis clínico es fundamental para brindar información actualizada a los estudiantes, con la finalidad de incentivar la realización de un buen diagnóstico de los pacientes pediátricos con diferentes patologías que influyan a la utilización de carillas que acuden a la consulta Odontológica. Guiándonos hacia una odontología preventiva y de tecnología adhesiva, es importante recordar el rol que cumple la estética y la conservación de las estructuras anatómicas naturales del elemento dentario, también recordando la parte psicológica de pacientes en temprana edad. Para ello, las restauraciones en el sector anterior con materiales estéticos como las resinas compuestas, despertaron interés y una gran demanda, debido a las ventajas que ofrecen. Por lo tanto, se presenta al odontólogo general, una restauración directa o indirecta y semipermanente, como la confección de carillas con resinas compuestas, siendo una alternativa en operatoria dental a la clásica corona total, la cual es muy traumática en pacientes pediátricos, para solucionar las distintas alteraciones que se presentan en las caras vestibulares de los elementos dentarios en el sector anterior temporario. Se utilizó el método descriptivo, experimental y bibliográfico, siendo los resultados obtenidos los mejores, Después de realizar un exhaustivo análisis de la bibliografía y de analizar el caso clínico se recalca que los estudios hasta el momento han demostrado una relación bidireccional entre las restauraciones estéticas y los pacientes pediátricos, por ello el odontólogo debe conocer estas relaciones para el adecuado diagnóstico y tratamiento de los pacientes , llegando a la conclusión de que este tipo de propuestas ayudara a desarrollar de manera integral al paciente pediátrico.This research aims to provide data for the study on resin veneers in temporary teeth. The present clinical analysis is fundamental to provide updated information to the students of the Pilot Faculty of Dentistry, University of Guayaquil, with the purpose of encouraging a good diagnosis of pediatric patients with different pathologies that influence the use of veneers that Attend the dental appointment. Guiding us towards preventive dentistry and adhesive technology, it is important to remember the role played by the aesthetics and the preservation of the natural anatomical structures of the dental element, also remembering the psychological part of patients at an early age. For this, restorations in the anterior sector with aesthetic materials such as composite resins, aroused interest and a great demand, due to the advantages they offer. Therefore, a direct or indirect and semi-permanent restoration, such as veneering with composite resins, is presented to the general dentist, being an alternative in dental surgery to the classic total crown, which is very traumatic in pediatric patients, to solve The different alterations that appear in the vestibular faces of the dental elements in the previous temporary sector. The descriptive, experimental and bibliographic method was used and the results obtained were the best. After an exhaustive analysis of the literature and analyzing the clinical case, it is emphasized that the studies so far have demonstrated a bidirectional relationship between aesthetic restorations and Pediatric patients, so the dentist must know these relationships for the adequate diagnosis and treatment of patients, concluding that this type of proposals will help to develop a comprehensive pediatric patient.Universidad de Guayaquil.
