For learning English, the development of all linguistic skills is fundamental so that students can communicate correctly and fluently; however, the deficiency of written production due to the limited use and lack of vocabulary was evidenced through classroom observation, a survey aimed at the 9th -grade students, and an interview with the English teacher. In addition, the variables of this educational research were analyzed theoretically through the background and foundations. To conclude, by analyzing the results of the instruments, it was considered that the design of an online educational resource with interactive and versatile activities to improve and motivate the development of this skill in A1.2 level students was adequate since it adapts to both face-to-face and virtual education.Este proyecto de investigación ha sido realizado para determinar la influencia del vocabulario en la producción escrita de los estudiantes de 9º grado de la Escuela de Educación Básica "Víctor Emilio Estrada", periodo académico 2021-2022. Para el aprendizaje del inglés, el desarrollo de todas las habilidades lingüísticas es fundamental para que los estudiantes puedan comunicarse correctamente y con fluidez; sin embargo, se evidenció la deficiencia de la producción escrita debido al limitado uso y falta de vocabulario de los estudiantes a través de una observación en el aula, una encuesta dirigida a los estudiantes de 9º grado y una entrevista con el profesor de inglés. Adicionalmente, las variables de este estudio fueron analizadas teóricamente a través de los antecedentes históricos y fundamentos. Para concluir, al analizar los resultados de los instrumentos se consideró que el diseño de un recurso educativo en línea con actividades interactivas y versátiles para mejorar y motivar el desarrollo de esta habilidad en los estudiantes del nivel A1.2 era adecuado ya que se adapta a la educación presencial y virtual.Universidad de Guayaquil.
