As we all know, the English language contains four skills that are important when learning a foreign language, but the ability to listen is considered one of the most difficult to develop. These data were evidenced in the students of the Tenth Grade of Basic Education, of the secondary school "28 de Mayo", who present difficulties in the development of this capacity. In order to solve this problem, the authors of this project carried out extensive reviews and research, which allowed them to contribute to the development of listening skills. The impact of multimedia technology today has become one of the main tools and strategies for the teaching-learning process of the English language, Therefore, the design of a blog for teachers based on multimedia resources is presented as a proposal to improve students' Listening skills for A2 level learners.Este proyecto educativo tiene como objetivo determinar el impacto de la tecnología multimedia en el desarrollo de habilidades auditivas en el idioma inglés. Como todos sabemos que el idioma inglés contiene cuatro habilidades que son importantes al aprender un idioma extranjero, pero la habilidad de escuchar se considera una de las más difíciles de desarrollar. Estos datos se evidenciaron en los estudiantes del Décimo Grado de Educación Básica, de la escuela secundaria "Veintiocho de Mayo", quienes presentan dificultades en el desarrollo de esta capacidad. Con el fin de dar una solución a este problema, los autores de este proyecto llevaron a cabo extensas revisiones e investigaciones, lo que les permitió contribuir al desarrollo de las habilidades de escucha. El impacto de la tecnología multimedia hoy en día se ha convertido en una de las principales herramientas y estrategias para el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje del idioma inglés, por lo tanto, se presenta como propuesta el diseño de un blog para profesores basado en recursos multimedia para mejorar las habilidades auditivas de los alumnos de nivel A2.Universidad de Guayaquil.
