Se estableció como eje de sistematización: ¿Cómo se dio el Proceso de detección de necesidades educativas especiales desde el rendimiento académico de estudiantes de séptimo básico del Liceo Naval? La finalidad del trabajo presente fue describir el proceso de detección de necesidades educativas especiales desde el rendimiento académico, para así poder aportar a la reflexión teórica con conocimientos que surgieron a partir de la experiencia vivida y poder mejorar el proceso de prácticas. El análisis del trabajo se dio desde un enfoque cualitativo y la modalidad de sistematización de experiencias, se utilizó como fuentes de información: ficha de observación de necesidades educativas especiales, test de Stroop y test de RIAS. La recuperación del proceso vivido y la reflexión crítica permitieron determinar que para poder realizar un adecuado diagnóstico de identificación de necesidades educativas especiales se requiere la aplicación de instrumentos objetivos que aborden todos los enfoques relacionados al diagnóstico real de rendimiento académico, destacando la importancia del involucramiento de docentes y padres de familia para lograr un buen desarrollo cognoscitivo en los estudiantesThis work of experience systematization originated from the intervention of an educational institution given since the project "Promotion of a basic culture", the objective of the systematization work was centered around the Process of special need education in the Seventh grade of Liceo Naval Guayaquil’s school. Established as systematization focus are: How did the Process of special need education come up through the academic performance of seventh grade students from Liceo Naval? The goal of the work was to describe the process of special need detection through academic performance to be able to give theoretical reflection with the knowledge that came up by the experience lived and be able to improve the practice process. The work analysis was done through a qualitative approach and the modality of experience systematization, used as information sources were: observation of special need education files, Stroop test and RIAS test.
