Objetivo: describir el rol del docente en la educación inclusiva de la Unidad Educativa Rayitos de Esperanza para la optimización del proceso de enseñanza - aprendizaje. La pregunta eje fue ¿Cómo fue el procedimiento utilizado para determinar si el rol del docente inclusivo fue pertinente?, La metodología es la sistematización de experiencias, y su enfoque es cualitativo, los participantes fueron 11 docentes de educación básica, los registros que documentan este procedimiento fueron: entrevista semiestructurada, Cuestionario de Cultura inclusiva, Autismo de M-CHAT, Escala de Actitudes para medir la actitud de los docentes ante la inclusión. Resultado: no se evidencia un rol de docente inclusivo lo cual dificultaba el trabajo en el aula. Se concluye que les gustaría involucrarse, aceptar y participar con niños con discapacidadOne aspect that has not been fully developed is the role of the inclusive teacher.
