Los impuestos son otra variable importante ya que financian el Presupuesto General del Estado y con ello el gasto público que aporta al crecimiento económico. Por esta razón, el objetivo de esta investigación es la de identificar, cuáles son los sectores más importantes, y cuáles de ellos son los que más aportan a la recaudación tributaria. La metodología utilizada fue descriptiva, ya que permite recoger, medir y analizar la información de las fuentes oficiales como las que se obtuvo del Servicio de Rentas Internas en cuanto a los niveles de recaudación y las estadísticas del Banco Central del Ecuador, donde se obtuvo, los niveles de aportación al PIB de cada una de las actividades económicas. Del análisis de las variables se obtuvo como resultado que, los principales sectores que aportan a la economía son: el sector de la “Manufactura”, el sector de la “Construcción” y el sector del “Comercio”, y que, los sectores que más aportan con la recaudación tributaria son: el del “Comercio” con una recaudación de $3.338 millones, el de la “Manufactura” con $2.245 millones y el “Financiero y de Seguro” con $2.023 millones, en promedio en los años de estudio.The PIB in Ecuador has had an average interannual growth of 2.6% in the last 10 years. What sectors contribute the most to PIB? Taxes are another important variable since they finance the General State Budget and with it the public spending that contributes to economic growth. For this reason, the objective of this research is to identify which are the most important sectors, and which of them are the ones that contribute the most to tax collection. The methodology used was descriptive, since it allows collecting, measuring and analyzing information from official sources such as those obtained from the Internal Revenue Service in terms of collection levels and statistics from the Central Bank of Ecuador, where it was obtained, the levels of contribution to PIB of each of the economic activities.
