Para esto la metodología que se empleó fue no experimental, mediante un proceso de estudio transversal, biblográfico y de campo con enfoque cuantitativo donde se levantó información mediante una encuesta a un total de 187 usuarias para tener datos que revelen aspectos relacionados con el climaterio y menopausia. Las conclusiones de la investigación fueron que las mujeres confunden lo que es el climaterio y menopausia debido al dsconocimiento que tienen y cuyos síntomas más comunes son la sudoración, dolor de cabeza y cambios de humor, por lo que se recomienda la ejecución de planes educativos en base a la actividad física, nutrición y programas de salud especificos.This research was carried out at the Tarifa Health Center, whose general objective was to determine the degree of knowledge and behaviors adopted by women from 49 to 54 years old, users of the Tarifa Health Center during the climacteric and menopause. For this, the methodology used was non-experimental, through a cross-sectional, bibliographic and field study process with a quantitative approach where information was collected through a survey of a total of 187 users to have data that reveal aspects related to the climacteric and menopause . The conclusions of the investigation were that women confuse what is the climacteric and menopause due to the lack of knowledge they have and whose most common symptoms are sweating, headache and mood swings, so the execution of educational plans is recommended in based on physical activity, nutrition and specific health programs.Universidad de Guayaquil.
