Implementando un programa de seguridad industrial como medida preventiva, se utiliza el método RULA para analizar las posturas del cuerpo y el manejo inseguro de equipos de protección personal, maquinarias y herramientas. Con este estudio se minimizara las alteraciones en la salud de los trabajadores, y la cantidad de riesgos para el agricultor, se obtiene beneficio tanto para el trabajador y sus familias y la conservación del buen confort de trabajo.The present research study identifies the ergonomic risk factors that are present in the agricultural sector, such as repetitive movements and forced postures, causing occupational diseases to the farmer, who carries out activities using hand tools and with the inclemency of the day, and has as a purpose to instruct the worker in occupational health and safety conditions. Implementing an industrial safety program as a preventive measure, the RULA method is used to analyze body postures and the unsafe handling of personal protective equipment, machinery and tools. With this study, alterations in workers' health will be minimized, as well as the amount of risks for the farmer, benefits are obtained for both the worker and their families, and the conservation of good working conditions.Universidad de Guayaquil.
