La estrategia metodológica es el análisis de caso, es de tipo cualitativa, de alcance descriptiva, diseño no experimental y corte transversal. La muestra está conformada por 5 estudiantes de distintos cursos de la unidad cuyas edades oscilan los 14 y 16 años. Entre los instrumentos que se utilizaron para el estudio de casos se encuentran la entrevista semiestructurada, Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg, Prueba de percepción del funcionamiento familiar (FF-SIL) y Test para evaluar abuso psicológico en el ámbito familiar. Los resultados mostraron que dos de los cinco casos presentan baja autoestima, todos los casos arrojan un abuso psicológico intermedio, así relacionando los constructos entre síThe present degree work was carried out in the Educational Unit "Ciudad de Cuenca" and the objective was to interpret the relationship of psychological abuse with possible damage to selfesteem of adolescent students in the period of the school year 2021 - 2022. The methodological strategy It is the case analysis, it is qualitative, descriptive in scope, non-experimental design and cross-sectional. The sample is made up of 5 students from different courses of the unit whose ages range from 14 to 16 years.
