Desde una perspectiva metodológica, se utilizó un enfoque mixto, con estudio retrospectivo basándose su análisis de una base de datos que permitió analizar de manera parcial y comparativa la afectación de servicios aeroportuarios como el transporte aéreo y los viajes, considerando el año central donde ocurrió la pandemia el 2020. Entonces, al analizar estos datos de manera cuantitativa se observó como las exportaciones de servicios decrecieron en relación al año anterior, así, se puede obtuvo una perspectiva analítica, descriptiva e inferencial de los servicios aeroportuarios que se vieron afectados. Desde un enfoque cualitativo, se aplicó una entrevista a 4 servidores aeroportuarios, con un cuestionario de 11 preguntas, se logró indagar sobre las diferentes operaciones que realizaron las empresas durante la pandemia para poder mantenerse en el mercado. Se puede destacar que la emergencia sanitaria ocasionada por el COVID-19, si afecto significativamente el comercio internacional, ya que disminuyó el indicador de las exportaciones.The purpose of this degree is to analyze the airport services that were hit by the health emergency caused by COVID-19 and how this influenced Ecuadorian international trade. From a methodological perspective, a mixed approach was used, with a retrospective study based on its analysis of a database that will partially and comparatively analyze the impact of airport services such as air transport and travel, considering the central year where the pandemic occurred. 2020. Then, when analyzing these data in a quantitative way, it is reflected how the exports of services decreased in relation to the previous year, thus, an analytical, descriptive and inferential perspective of the airport services that were affected can be obtained. From a qualitative approach, an interview was applied to 4 airport servers, with a questionnaire of 11 questions, it was possible to inquire about the different operations that companies carried out during the pandemic in order to stay in the market.
