El propósito es ofrecer una herramienta dirigida a la ciudadanía. El motivo por el cual se seleccionó al Ecuador como objeto de estudio se debe al alto índice de inseguridad, esto ha generado una sensación de temor en la ciudadanía, por otro lado, el sistema judicial en Ecuador sufre serias deficiencias surgidas de la incapacidad de atender la demanda ciudadana. La investigación se centra en un enfoque mixto al combinar estos métodos se logrará obtener una comprensión completa de la seguridad y justicia en el país, comenzando con la limpieza y análisis de estos datos para su posterior uso. La metodología aplicada nos permite utilizar estas herramientas que nos permitió importar, ordenar, transformar, visualizar y modelar nuestras bases de datos. Este proyecto no solo busca ser un avance académico, sino también una herramienta práctica para impulsar cambios positivos en la sociedad, alentando la colaboración entre la ciudadanía y las instituciones encargas de velar por la seguridad y justicia en el Ecuador.The main objective of this research is to "Implement a citizen thermometer on security and justice in the country based on the use of open data", using data from Ecuador's open data portal. The purpose is to offer a tool aimed at citizens. The reason why Ecuador was selected as the object of study is due to the high level of insecurity, which has generated a sense of fear among citizens. On the other hand, the judicial system in Ecuador suffers from serious deficiencies arising from the inability to meet citizens' demands. The research focuses on a mixed approach by combining these methods to obtain a complete understanding of security and justice in the country, beginning with the cleaning and analysis of these data for their subsequent use. The methodology applied allows us to use these tools to import, sort, transform, visualise and model our databases.
