El manual de bioseguridad es actualmente muy importante y exigido por el Ministerio de Salud Pública ya que se está viviendo una pandemia donde el virus del SARS-CoV-2 es el causante siendo un patógeno de rápido contagio y que ha dejado muchas muertes. Los objetivos fueron revisar las normas estipuladas por El Servicio Nacional de Gestión de Riesgos y Emergencias donde en vista de que no hay un manual concreto para los centros médicos de asistencia social se propuso elaborar un manual de bioseguridad para evitar más contagios y además precautelar la salud del personal que labora en estos centros de salud. El periodo de investigación para la elaboración del manual fue de junio a septiembre del presente año cumpliendo así una investigación experimental descriptiva. Se realizaron las investigaciones en dos puntos diferentes uno en la Alborada 5ta etapa y el otro en el suburbio 26 y la Q. Para la aplicación de este manual se debe realizar capacitaciones a cada representante de área sobre el lavado de manos y uso correcto de equipos de protección personal, la desinfección de cada área, el uso adecuado de desinfectantes, la manipulación correcta de los desechos y el correcto uso de guantes. Con esto se espera cuidar la salud de las personas que llegan al centro médico y así haciendo el uso adecuado del distanciamiento.Around 500 to 600 patients a day attend medical centers for social assistance, where different types of hospital procedures are performed. The biosafety manual is currently very important and demanded by the Ministry of Public Health since a pandemic is being experienced where the SARS-CoV-2 virus is the cause, being a rapidly contagious pathogen that has caused many deaths. The objectives were to review the standards stipulated by the National Service for Risk and Emergency Management where, given that there is no specific manual for medical centers for social assistance, it was proposed to develop a biosafety manual to avoid more infections and also to protect health of the personnel working in these health centers. The research period for the preparation of the manual was from June to September of this year, thus fulfilling a descriptive experimental investigation. The investigations were carried out in two different points, one in the Alborada 5th stage and the other in the suburb 26 and Q. For the application of this manual, training must be carried out to each area representative on hand washing and correct use of equipment protection, the disinfection of each area, the proper use of disinfectants, the correct handling of waste and the correct use of gloves.
