The main objective of this work was to explore the bibliography regarding the methods of teaching of the English language to design a didactic booklet with tongue twister games in order to improve the fluency of English learners. The research maintained a mixed approach making use of the descriptive and explanatory types. The analysis-synthesis method and the inductive-deductive method were used to analyze the results obtained through the bibliographic research, the survey, the interview, and direct observation. The results of the investigation showed that the students did not show any interest in learning the English language in the classroom due to the lack of participative activities, but they did show an interest in improving their fluency. The work concludes proving that tongue twisters help improve language fluency and improve student motivation to learn English, and the guide booklet was presented so that the student can practice their oral expression in class and outside of it.El presente proyecto investigó la influencia de los trabalenguas en la fluidez del habla del idioma inglés en los alumnos de nivel A2 tomando como objeto de estudio a los estudiantes del 10mo curso de la Escuela de Educación Básica Completa Fiscal Luis Bonilla Castillo. El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue explorar la bibliografía respecto a los métodos de enseñanza del idioma inglés para diseñar un librillo didáctico con juegos de trabalenguas con la finalidad de mejorar la fluidez de los estudiantes de inglés. La investigación mantuvo un enfoque mixto, siendo del tipo descriptivo y explicativo. Se valió del método de análisis-síntesis y el método inductivo-deductivo para analizar los resultados obtenidos mediante la revisión bibliográfica, encuesta, entrevista y observación directa. Los resultados de la investigación arrojaron que los estudiantes no mostraban interés alguno en el aprendizaje del idioma inglés causado por la falta de actividades participativas en clase, pero demostraban en estar interesados en mejorar su fluidez. El trabajo concluye con la demostración de que los trabalenguas ayudan a mejorar la fluidez del idioma y mejoran la motivación del estudiante en aprender y se presentó el librillo guía para que el estudiante pueda practicar su expresión oral en clase y fuera de ella.Universidad de Guayaquil.
