La estrategia metodológica es cualitativa con alcance descriptivo de tipo transversal. Los instrumentos usados fueron: entrevista semi-estructurada, Escala de ansiedad de Hamilton y encuesta de patrones comportamentales, utilizando herramientas virtuales como Zoom y Google Forms. Los resultados indican que un porcentaje alto de docentes presentan ansiedad severa y moderada; en la escala de patrones comportamentales los docentes muestran niveles medio alto en la relación Docentes y manejo de las Tics, demostrando la dificultad que se presenta en la conexión y el trabajo con las nuevas plataformasThis project was developed with the purpose of identifying the levels of stress and anxiety caused by online education and the state of confinement in teachers from the 8th to 3rd year of Baccalaureate of the Assad Bucaram Fiscal Educational Unit; with the aim of determining the effects of the implementation of the virtual modality on the mental health of secondary school teachers. The methodological strategy is qualitative with a descriptive scope of a cross-sectional type. The instruments used were: semi-structured interview, Hamilton Anxiety Scale and behavioral pattern survey, using virtual tools such as Zoom and Google Forms.
