La investigación fue descriptiva y ampliado bajo un enfoque mixto. Los resultados obtenidos mediante las diferentes técnicas cualitativas y cuantitativas indicaron que el 88% no poseen buenas prácticas y el 92% no poseen conocimiento de los impactos negativos que generan. Mediante la observación directa se corroboró el actual manejo y disposición final. La matriz Causa Efecto Simple evidenció que tan solo verter aceite al sistema de drenaje representa un riesgo significativo con una ponderación de -72. Mediante los resultados se propuso la implementación de programas de capacitación de las buenas prácticas en el manejo, disposición final y reciclaje del aceite vegetal usado de manera que se logre reducir estas malas prácticas impulsando el microemprendimiento al fabricar productos basado de aceite vegetal reciclado.This research was developed in the Cooperative El Fortín and its objective was to carry out an environmental study regarding the management and final disposition of vegetable oil. The research was descriptive and expanded under a mixed approach. The results obtained through the different qualitative and quantitative techniques indicated that 88% do not have good practices and 92% do not know the negative impact that they generate. Through direct observation, the current management and final disposition were corroborated. The Simple Cause Effect matrix showed that just pouring oil into the drainage system represents a significant risk with a score of -72. Through the results, the implementation of training programs of good practices in management, final disposition, and recycling of used vegetable oil was proposed to reduce these bad practices by promoting micro-enterprise when manufacturing products based on recycled vegetable oil.Universidad de Guayaquil.
