Los objetivos planteados en el proyecto permitieron determinar lineamientos que encaminen a la investigación, de manera que se pueda llevar a cabo la planificación del evento. En la investigación se aplicó un enfoque mixto, examinando datos cualitativos y cuantitativos, proporcionados a partir de las herramientas utilizadas para la recolección de información como fueron las encuestas y entrevistas. La información obtenida de las mismas, dejan claro que la ciudad de Guayaquil es la meca de los eventos que se realizan a nivel nacional y que la expansión de los mismos ayudan al crecimiento económico y social. El Área Nacional de Recreación Parque el Lago, es un lugar clave para el turismo de naturaleza, por lo que posee la capacidad para atraer a aquellos turistas extranjeros que buscan “áreas verdes” para recrearse. La organización de eventos y la inserción de actividades recreativas promoverán el uso de los recursos con los que cuenta el país.This research aims to strengthen tourism in the National Recreation Area Parque Lago, thorugh the realization of the festival "Walking between Waters and Sound" Which has as purpose, the insertion of recreational activities in the place. The objectives set out in the project allowed determining guidelines for research, so that it can be carried out the event planning. The research applied a mixed approach, examining qualitative and quantitative data, provided from the tools used for the collection of information such as surveys and interviews. The information obtained from them, make it clear that the city of Guayaquil is seat (Headquarters)of the events held nationwide and expanding them help the economic and social growth. The National Recreation Area Parque el Lago, it is a key place for nature tourism, so it has the capacity to attract foreigners who are looking for "green areas" to recreate.
