Por último, se examina la relación entre los índices de desempleo y flujo migratorio, así como la opinión que existe en la población guayaquileña en relación al tema migratorio y su impacto en el desempleo existente. La metodología aplicada para dar cumplimiento al objetivo general, combina métodos teóricos y empíricos; el tipo de investigación se corresponde con una investigación exploratoria y descriptiva ya que se pretende descubrir ideas, apreciaciones y datos desde nuevas perspectivas que amplíen las existentes y su enfoque es mixto el cual integra los enfoques cualitativo y cuantitativo. Como resultado se reflejó una correlación fuerte para el saldo migratorio de extranjeros y una correlación despreciable para la migración regional en Guayaquil, eso significa que la hipótesis se cumple parcialmente.The purpose of this degree work is to determine the relationship between the migration flow (foreign- regional) and unemployment in the city of Guayaquil, 2010-2018 period; That is why we start from the systematization of the concepts, theories and antecedents related to the subject under investigation. Finally, we examine the relationship between unemployment rates and migration flow, as well as the opinion that exists in the population of Guayaquil in relation to the migration issue and its impact on existing unemployment. The methodology applied to fulfill the general objective combines theoretical and empirical methods; The type of research corresponds to an exploratory and descriptive research since it is intended to discover ideas, assessments and data from new perspectives that expand existing ones and its approach is mixed which integrates qualitative and quantitative approaches.
