En el desarrollo de esta investigación se detallan los conceptos y herramientas principales para concretar una base sólida de teoría que sustente el uso de las herramientas y el análisis de los resultados en los proyectos. La planificación se la realizó en base a tres herramientas de Lean Construction, Sectorización, Last Planner System y Tren de Actividades, con el propósito de divulgar el proceso de elaboración de cada una de estas herramientas para los profesionales y/o empresas que se interesen por la implantación de Lean Construction.The present research consists of the application of the Lean Construction methodology in planning for the road rehabilitation project on the Pan American Highway north, City of Cuenca. In the development of this research, the main concepts and tools are detailed to establish a solid base of theory that supports the use of the tools and the analysis of the results in the projects. The planning was carried out based on three tools of Lean Construction: Sectorization, Last Planner System and Train of Activities, with the purpose of disseminating the process of developing each of these tools for professionals and/or companies that are interested in the implementation of Lean Construction.
