Esta investigación analiza el impacto de las historias audiovisuales en las habilidades auditivas de estudiantes de noveno grado en el aprendizaje del inglés. Examina la integración de recursos audiovisuales y su contribución a habilidades de escucha, adquisición de vocabulario, comprensión cultural y motivación. Realiza un análisis comparativo con materiales auditivos tradicionales para proporcionar percepciones sobre su efectividad. Se exploran las percepciones y preferencias de los estudiantes respecto a las historias audiovisuales. El enfoque de métodos mixtos combina revisión de literatura, análisis estadístico y estudio de campo en la escuela básica "5 de mayo".
