This project was carried out through field research, an observation guide, an interview with the eighth grade teacher, and a survey of the students ,were carried out to determine the level of learning with which they interact day by day, with the results obtained from the data collection, it was demonstrated that the students presented a low development in the ability to speak, reason why it was necessary to design a pamphlet for the development of the Speaking skill through the use of vocabulary activities, which will allow students to develop their oral fluency, making use of the vocabulary learned in class.El siguiente trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo responder a las preguntas del vocabulario y su incidencia en la habilidad de hablar en los alumnos de octavo grado de Educación General Básica de la Escuela Secundaria Pública de Provincia de Los Ríos, esta investigación se ha centrado en un análisis del ambiente con el fin de establecer estrategias para desarrollar la habilidad de hablar en los estudiantes. Este proyecto se realizó a través de una investigación de campo, una guía de observación, una entrevista con el maestro de octavo grado y una encuesta de a los alumnos para determinar el nivel de aprendizaje con el que interactúan día a día, dentro de la recogida de datos, se demostró que los estudiantes presentaban un bajo desarrollo en la capacidad de hablar, por lo que fue necesario diseñar un folleto para el desarrollo de la habilidad de hablar a través del uso de actividades de vocabulario, lo que permitirá a los estudiantes desarrollar su fluidez oral, haciendo uso del vocabulario aprendido en claseUniversidad de Guayaquil.
