La propuesta de mejora incluye una variedad de instalaciones deportivas y juegos para fomentar la actividad física y mejorar la salud de los estudiantes. Además, se incorporarán áreas de descanso para proporcionar un lugar tranquilo para los estudiantes que necesiten relajarse y recuperar energías. La inclusión de equipamiento de mobiliarios y jardines sensoriales también ayudará a mejorar el ambiente natural del área recreativa y proporcionará una experiencia más agradable para los estudiantes. La iluminación adecuada es crucial para la seguridad y el uso efectivo del espacio en horarios fuera de la luz solar. La mejora del diseño del área recreativa de la Unidad educativa «21 de Julio» puede tener un impacto positivo en el bienestar y aprendizaje de los estudiantes, y mejorar la calidad de vida de la comunidad en general. Es importante destacar que un ambiente de aprendizaje agradable y saludable puede mejorar el rendimiento académico y contribuir a la formación integral de los estudiantes.This thesis project proposes an improvement in the design of the recreational area of the educational unit "21 de Julio" for the canton of Yaguachi, which has areas aimed at the community through education and sports. The novelty of this thesis project is the development of architectural designs based on social contexts in order to create suitable spaces for the development of the aforementioned activities. The deficiencies in the distribution of the sports and recreational space in the 21 de Julio Educational Unit highlights the importance of having an adequate and balanced environment for the integral learning of the students. The lack of adequate space and equipment for other types of recreational and sports activities limits the opportunity for students to develop skills and abilities in areas that are not covered by current facilities. Based on the collection of information through review of bibliographies, scientific, normative, obtaining verified data, an analytical understanding is achieved to carry out addressing the deficiencies and proposing solutions to improve the design of the space and complementary equipment taking into account the needs and student preferences. Resulting in the proposal to improve the design of the recreational area, incorporating a variety of sports facilities, games, rest area, integrating furniture equipment, lighting, sensory gardens, to improve the natural environment and offer a good experience.
