El principal propósito del presente proyecto de titulación es analizar el impacto del impuesto redimible a las botellas plásticas no retornables durante el periodo 2012-2016, la investigación fue de tipo cuali-cuantitativo, llegando a la conclusión de que si bien dicho impuesto si cumplió los objetivos para los cuales fue creado, provocó un efecto perverso de contrabando de botellas usadas desde Colombia y PerúThe State has chosen to establish an environmental policy that conscientizes and regulates the behavior of individuals and companies, through tax measures that generate real changes in their consumption behavior. The main purpose of the present titration project is to analyze the impact of the tax that can be redeemed on non-returnable plastic bottles during the 2012-2016 period. The investigation was qualitative-quantitative, reaching the conclusion that although this tax did meet the objectives for which it was created, caused a perverse effect of contraband of used bottles from Colombia and PeruUniversidad de Guayaquil.
