Existen varios recursos turísticos ecuestres alrededor de la provincia, sin embargo, se examinaron los cantones Daule, Salitre y Samborondón por su riqueza cultural y cercanía entre sí. Mediante un estudio mixto conformado por enfoque cuantitativo y cualitativo, se empleó investigación exploratoria, descriptiva y de campo para identificar los recursos turísticos relacionados al tema, las facilidades para el diseño de un producto llamativo y las preferencias de los turistas potenciales. Se seleccionó una muestra de 400 habitantes de la provincia del Guayas para participar en las encuestas, se entrevistó a dos autoridades del ramo y visitó a los tres cantones para observar sus servicios en la realidad. A partir de la guía para el diseño de rutas turísticas del Ministerio de Turismo, se realizó el análisis del destino distribuido en oferta y demanda y el diseño de cinco rutas turísticas en los cantones mencionados con duración de uno y dos días, que contemplaron actividades como cabalgatas, visita de haciendas, a lugares típicos y pequeñas playas, degustación de gastronomía local y hospedajeThe present investigation seeks to investigate the tourist attractions related to the horse that the province of Guayas possesses and the possibilities to promote them through equestrian tourist routes. There are several equestrian tourist resources around the province, however, the Daule, Salitre and Samborondón cantons were examined for their cultural wealth and proximity to each other. Through a mixed study made up of a quantitative and qualitative approach, exploratory, descriptive and field research was used to identify the tourist resources related to the subject, the facilities for the design of a striking product and the preferences of potential tourists. A sample of 400 inhabitants from the province of Guayas was selected to participate in the surveys, two authorities from the sector were interviewed and visited the three cantons to observe their services in reality.
