En el presente trabajo de titulación se busca analizar la importancia de este grupo social analizándose al club de adultos mayores Stella Maris que está ubicado en el Guasmo Sur, lo que permite evaluar el problema social que tiene este sector vulnerable, quienes día a día buscan la inclusión total en su comunidad, por medio de la ayuda de distintos organismos y fundaciones, sin embargo, estas contribuciones no son suficientes. Por otro lado, se recurre a un marco teórico el mismo que aporta las bases científicas para el desarrollo de todo el proceso investigativo, ya que es importante el análisis desde el punto comunicacional frente a las actividades geriátricas. Se aplicará una metodología acorde a la realidad del tema social, basándonos en lo descriptivo, educativo y cuantitativo, añadiendo la investigación bibliográfica y de campo, todo esto promulgó la elaboración de una revista comunicacional sobre este club, lo que permitirá no solo comunicar la importancia de las actividades que ellos realizan en favor de los ancianos, y que puedan ser difundidas a nivel local, sino también la responsabilidad que deben tener en lo que respecta a salud y ocupación personal. Por tanto, llevar a cabo la elaboración de una revista, tendrá como objetivo primordial el promover mensualmente la divulgación de cada actividad que estos adultos mayores realicen, así mismo crear un sentido de pertenencia del club, y coadyuvar el envejecimiento activo.Geriatric education implies many activities in the elderly, that is why it is necessary to develop diverse programs for their training and that way to keep them busy without thinking about problems and illnesses, either cognitive or physical. In the present research work we try to analyze the importance of the social group analyzing the club for the elderly called Stella Maris located in Guasmo sur, which allows us to evaluate the social problem in the community, with the help of the different organisms and foundations, however these contributions are not enough. On the other hand, it has a theoretical framework which has scientific basis for the development of the whole investigate process, because it is important the analysis from the communicational process before the geriatric activities.
