La OMI ayuda a analizar las diversas situaciones y las estrategias de prevención para intervenir e identificar las lesiones tempranas de caries por medio de evaluaciones que ayudan a tomar decisiones clínicas pertinentes con sus diferentes tratamientos. Por ende, esta investigación tiene como objetivo Analizar la importancia de los procedimientos mínimamente invasivos en odontopediatría. Metodología: está incluido por un estudio de tipo cualitativo no numérico, que analizo las características de los procedimientos y las técnicas no invasivas que se deben de utilizar en este tipo de problemas, se desarrolló una recolección de información por medio de fuentes bibliográficas con el uso de una matriz de consistencia con datos de tesis y revistas científicas. Dando como resultado que este factor causa un impacto significativo en el estilo de vida de los niños y las personas que están a cargo de los mismos. Destacando que son procesos que no requieren el uso de implementos mecánicos, sino el cuidado y limpieza de los tutores o padres de familia de los infantes para evitar los problemas a futuros de caries en piezas dentales.Minimally invasive dentistry helps to minimize decay in children’s teeth and is applied for patient comfort and is very essential for fearful, cooperative infants. OMI helps to analyze the various situations and prevention strategies to intervene and identify early caries lesions using evaluations that help to make pertinent clinical decisions. Therefore, the objective of this research is to analyze the importance of minimally invasive procedures in pediatric dentistry. The methodological framework is included by a non-numerical qualitative study, which analyzed the characteristics of the procedures and the non-invasive techniques that should be used in this type of problem, a collection of information was developed using bibliographic sources with the use of a consistency matrix with data from theses and scientific journals. As a result, this factor causes a significant impact on the lifestyle of children and their caregivers. Emphasizing that these are processes that do not require the use of mechanical implements, but rather the care and cleaning of the guardians or parents of the infants to avoid future problems of caries in dental pieces.Universidad de Guayaquil.
