Presentándose el consumo de alcohol como una conducta frecuente en los trabajadores, al que recurren muchas veces como afrontamiento negativo al estrés. (Zuñiga, Castillo, & García, 2021). Objetivo: Determinar la incidencia de alcoholismo y su relación con el estrés laboral de los colaboradores de Avipriloor S.A de Guayaquil. Tipo de estudio: Investigación de tipo mixta, descriptiva- relacional, En cuanto a lo cuantitativo, se evaluará el nivel de estrés y la presencia de trastorno por consumo de sustancias, con un método no experimental, sin manipulación de variables y se describirá un fenómeno en su contexto natural con descripción posterior de un análisis. También es un estudio transversal, ya que se recolectan datos en un solo momento, en un solo punto, y en tiempo único. Resultados: Se evidencio un alto nivel de estrés en el personal de la empresa AVIPRILOOR S.A, información obtenida del cuestionario sobre estrés laboral de la OIT-OMS. El promedio fue un nivel de estrés intermedio en un 30% de los participantes y alto nivel de estrés en un 32%. Siendo más prevalente en el grupo que tenía entre 1 a 5 años de tiempo de labores en la empresa. Además, se identificó una fuerte relación de los niveles altos de estrés con la dependencia y los problemas físico-psíquicos por consumo de alcohol obteniendo una correlación muy significativa con una p= <,001. Conclusiones: El personal de la empresa Avipriloor S.A de la ciudad de Guayaquil posee un nivel de estrés entre intermedio y alto según la escala del instrumento utilizada en esta investigación, evidenciándose que el personal del área de producción es el más afectado. Además, se logró identificar una relación muy significativa entre el estrés laboral y los problemas por consumo de alcohol.Undertaking in a negative work environment has a great influence on workers’ maladjustment, which can produce work-related, physiological, and psychological consequences to the employees. Thus, the consumption of alcohol is a frequent behavior on workers, to which they resort many times as a negative coping with stress. (Zuñiga, Castillo, & García, 2021) Objective: to determine the incidence of alcoholism and its relationship with work-related stress on employees from Avipriloor S.A of Guayaquil. Type of study: research of a mixed-type, descriptive-relational. Regarding the quantitative, the level of stress and the presence of substance consumption disorder will be evaluated with a non-experimental method, without manipulation of variables, and the phenomenon in its natural context with the subsequent description of the analysis will be described. Also, it is a cross-sectional study, due to data is collected in a single moment, in a single point and time. Results: In this research, a high-stress level was identified on the company’s staff, based on the results obtained from the quiz about work-related stress of the OIT-OMS. The average of an intermediate stress level was about 30% of the participants, and 32% in a high level, being more prevalent in the group which has between 1 to 5 years of working time in the company. Moreover, a solid relationship of the high level of stress with the dependence and the physio-psychic problems of alcoholism was identified, obtaining a very significant co-relationship with p= <,001.
