El presente trabajo analiza el principal problema que tiene la empresa FIEL -PETS, dedicada a la elaboración y comercialización de accesorios para mascotas, el cual se genera porque existen retrasos en la entrega de productos a los clientes, ocasionando inconformidad por parte de los mismos. Utilizando el marco teórico se definieron los principales conceptos para el desarrollo del proyecto de investigación. Analizando la situación actual de la empresa, se diagnosticaron las principales causas que ocasionan el problema, las que generan pérdidas de $ 7,656.45 al año. La propuesta planteada determina la implementación de un sistema de gestión de inventario, mediante el método FIFO para la empresa, llevando un registro diario de las entradas y salidas de productos que comercializa, obteniendo un óptimo manejo del inventario y generando una mayor rentabilidad a la misma.Inventory Management is an essential part of the administration in every company that produces or commercializes products. This paper analyzes the main problem of the FIEL -PETS company, which focuses on the development and modifications of pet accessories, which is generated by delayed stocks in the delivery of products to customers, causing disagreement on the parts. Using the theoretical framework, the main concepts for the development of the research project were defined. Analyzing the current situation of the company, the main causes that cause the problem were diagnosed, which generate losses of $7,656.45 per year. This proposal determines the implementation of an inventory management system, using the FIFO method for the company, keeping a daily record of the inputs and outputs of the products that the company sells, obtaining an optimum inventory management and generating a greater profitability for it.Universidad de Guayaquil.
