Para el desarrollo metodológico se tomó en cuenta un diseño no experimental del alcance descriptivo, bajo un enfoque mixto donde se aplicaron encuestas a sus 11 trabajadores y una entrevista a la administradora para registrar información referente a la parte organizacional. Los resultados demostraron la necesidad del diseño organizacional como propuesta para el mejoramiento de la gestión administrativa de la pyme para que así se tomen decisiones correctas que le den una mejor dirección a las actividades para el cumplimiento de objetivos.This case study was carried out in the SME ICE ZONE of the Naranjal canton, which was born as a family business in February 1999, saw in the Naranjal market and other cantons of the Guayas province the opportunity to distribute ice cream of the brand Topsy, where it was found that they have problems at the organizational level due to the lack of a proper structure that has their vision, mission and objectives correctly defined, as well as the clarity in internal processes and the segregation of tasks that generate a poor work environment. work and improvement in internal communication.
