Para poder cumplir con el objetivo de esta investigación se utilizó la matriz de riesgo GTC 45 la cual tiene como propósito identificar los peligros, evaluar los riesgos en asuntos de seguridad y salud ocupacional. Una vez realizada la identificación, evaluación se obtuvo que el 40% de los riegos encontrados eran mecánicos, la implementación se compone de dotación de equipo de protección, capacitaciones, instalación de señaléticas y un botiquín de primeros auxilios, la propuesta está valorada en $1597.15, y tiene un coeficiente de beneficio de 5.32 dado los resultados se considera viable.The purpose of this research work is to identify, evaluate and control the occupational hazards to which the workers of the company "Taller Jonny Castro" are exposed day by day, the methodology used in the research work was field, non-experimental, with a descriptive scope due to the fact that an analysis was carried out on the problem raised. In order to meet the objective of this research, the GTC 45 risk matrix was used, which aims to identify hazards, evaluate risks in matters of occupational safety and health. Once the identification was made, evaluation it was obtained that 40% of the risks found were mechanical, the implementation consists of provision of protective equipment, training, installation of signage and a first aid kit, the proposal is valued at $ 1597.15, and has a benefit coefficient of 5.32 given the results is considered viable.Universidad de Guayaquil.
