Para la investigación se emplearán diversos métodos como el análisis documental y la entrevista a fin de poder sustentar la premisa de investigación y la propuesta planteada. Finalmente, se logró diagnosticar las principales causas que ocasionan la crisis de la seguridad social, de tal forma se ha desarrollado un criterio que ha permitido proponer soluciones direccionadas a evitar el debilitamiento de los servicios brindados por el Instituto Ecuatoriano de Seguridad Social, entre ellos las prestaciones de salud y la financiación del seguro de pensiones jubilares.This degree work focuses on proposing solutions to the crisis that social security currently presents in Ecuador that effects the entire system that constitutes it, access to social security is a right of all citizens, which is why it is regulated by the Ecuadorian legal system, especially by the social security law, however, there obstacles the prevent compliance with certain principles and objectives under which the social security system must function. For the research, various methods will be used such as documentary analysis and interviews in order to support the research premise and the proposed proposal. Finally, it was possible to diagnose the main causes the cause the social security crisis, in such a way that a criterion has been developed that has allowed us to propose solutions aimed at avoiding the weakening of the services provided by the Ecuadorian Institute of Social Security, among them health benefits and the financing of retirement pension insurance.Universidad de Guayaquil.
