Con el propósito de demostrar la eficiencia estructural que traduce en ventaja económica. Para realizar el modelo Network se utilizará información bibliográfica. En la evaluación comparativa se usarán tablas y gráficos que permitan diferenciar el comportamiento entre ambos tipos de puentes. El análisis estructural se efectuará en el programa computacional SAP2000. Las cargas y requerimientos generales serán tomadas de acuerdo a la normativa AASHTO LRFD 2017, esta comparación se efectuará en elementos principales tales como arco, tirantes y péndolas. Finalmente se obtiene las conclusiones y recomendaciones.The main objective of this degree work is to perform a comparative analysis of the structural behavior between the superstructure of a tied arch bridge type Lohse, and a tied arch bridge type Network, considering a span of 190 m, 15.3 m wide deck and an arch rise of 20% of the span. The purpose is to demonstrate the structural efficiency that translates into an economic advantage. Bibliographic information will be used to develop the Network model. In the comparative evaluation, tables and graphs will be used to differentiate the behavior of both types of bridges. The structural analysis will be carried out in the SAP2000 computer program. The loads and general requirements will be taken according to the AASHTO LRFD 2017 standard, this comparison will be carried out in main elements such as arch, tieds and hangers.
