Considerando que impartir esta materia de manera exclusivamente memorística, es una causal de desmotivación por parte del educando, lo cual origina un deficiente desarrollo de conocimientos y dificultades de relacionar hechos pasados con los actuales. Esta investigación fue aplicada a los estudiantes de Decimo Año de Educación General Básica de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal “República de Francia”. El estudio tuvo un enfoque cualitativo, basado en la investigación acción, a través del cual se evidenciaron dificultades cognitivas en la asignatura de Ciencias Sociales. Por ende, se propuso el diseño e implementación de un software multimedia educativo, para desarrollar mejoras en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje, la implementación del software multimedia aporto al fortalecimiento de los niveles cognitivos de los estudiantes.The Project has as a objective to diagnose the cognitive development from the Social Cience signature, as well as the multimedia software too lwich can be used for the improvoment . considering to impart this subject by way of exclusively memoristic, its a casual of demostivation of the student , wich origins a déficit in the knowledge development and its hard to relate important facts in the past with the present .
