En esta investigación se aplicó el diseño no experimental, la cual se utilizó algunos métodos como de tipo documental, descriptivo, obteniendo resultados de fuentes secundarias de entes de control existentes en el Ecuador, así mismo de fuentes primarias a profesionales como las encuestas, para conocer sus respectivos de puntos de vista. Como resultado de esta investigación se evidenció, que la mayoría de los profesionales que elaboran en el área administrativa están en total de acuerdo con que se aplique el e-commerce, puesto que, el uso de medios digitales como herramienta de comercialización es importante para una reducción de costos. Finalmente se propone la mejora de la rentabilidad a aquellas importadoras del sector y el impulso necesario para el correcto desarrollo de los factores de trabajo, tecnológico y operativo, para no perder oportunidades de negociación o la baja competitividad, permitiendo aumentar su participación en el mercado como también mejorar su rentabilidad.The present research paper refers to the design of financial strategies to improve the profitability per pandemic case, where it affected national and international companies, however, the study center were the importers of sector 9 of October west, which aimed to design financial strategies to improve the profitability of importers, so that they opt for financial strategies that help the optimization of profits. In this research, the nonexperimental design was applied, which used some methods such as documentary, descriptive, obtaining results from secondary sources of control entities existing in Ecuador, as well from primary sources to professionals such as surveys, to know their respective views. As a result of this research, it was evident, that most of the professionals who elaborate in the administrative area are in total in agreement with application of the commerce since the use of digital media as a marketing tool is important for cost reduction. Finally, it is proposed to improve the profitability of those importers of the sector and the necessary impulse for the correct development of the working, technological and operational factors, so as not to lose opportunities for negotiation or low competitiveness, enabling them to increase their market share and to improve their profitability.
