Throughout the analysis of the data gathered, it was discovered that students from 1 BGU grade of Unidad Educativa Fiscal “11 de Octubre” have a low English-speaking proficiency which leads to students’ difficulties in producing the language orally either inside and outside of the classroom. Moreover, it was observed that English lessons are not real-life oriented, making students incapable of performing orally in daily contexts. In addition, the lack of participative activities prevents students not to practicing the language enough to be a competent user of the language. Therefore, in order to solve this educational problem this research paper proposes the application of an innovative didactic guide to reinforce the improvement of speaking ability. The objective of the didactic guide is to promote teachers to use CLT activities in English lessons to overcome speaking difficulties of students, for to enhance speaking skill at A2.2 students’ level. Este proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo motivar a los docentes a mejorar las habilidades orales de los estudiantes mediante el uso de actividades de expresión oral basadas en el método de enseñanza comunicativa (CLT) para el nivel A2.2. A través del análisis de los datos recopilados, se descubrió que los estudiantes del 1° de Bachillerato General Unificado (BGU) de la Unidad Educativa Fiscal “11 de Octubre” presentan una baja competencia en inglés hablado, lo que provoca dificultades en la producción oral del idioma tanto dentro como fuera del aula. Además, se observó que las lecciones de inglés no están orientadas a la vida real, lo que impide que los estudiantes puedan desempeñarse oralmente en contextos cotidianos. Asimismo, la falta de actividades participativas impide que los estudiantes practiquen el idioma lo suficiente para convertirse en usuarios competentes del mismo. Por lo tanto, para solucionar este problema educativo, este trabajo de investigación propone la aplicación de una guía didáctica innovadora para reforzar la mejora de la habilidad de expresión oral. El objetivo de la guía didáctica es fomentar que los docentes utilicen actividades CLT en las lecciones de inglés para superar las dificultades orales de los estudiantes y mejorar la habilidad de hablar en el nivel A2.2.Universidad de Guayaquil.
