Algunos de los motivos por lo cual se presenta la enfermedad periodontal es; déficit de hierro, trastornos de las hormonas, que conllevar a problemas graves sin su debido tratamiento. Por ello es de vital importancia el diagnóstico y el tratamiento a tiempo de dicha enfermedad. Ya que con el correcto tratamiento se puede prevenir, todas los problemas que nos causa la enfermedad periodontal. Teniendo en cuenta que la profilaxis antibiótica como tratamiento ante la enfermedad periodontal posee buenos resultados por su eficacia ante las bacterias y microorganismos patógenos. Esto con el fin de erradicar la infección, pero debe tenerse en cuenta que no se debe usar de forma indiscriminada ya que existen riesgos de toxicidad a droga, para la mujer embarazada lo que causaría daño al feto o desarrollar resistencia bacteriana lo que impediría devolverle la salud oral, por ende la enfermedad periodontal evolucionaría hasta producir su máximo daño, teniendo en cuenta esto debemos procurar utilizar los antibióticos en sus dosis adecuadas. En este estudio se analiza los antibióticos que nos ayudara en el tratamiento de la enfermedad periodontal y de esa manera devolver la salud oral a la mujer embarazada para llegar a feliz término su embarazo y sin problemasPeriodontal disease in pregnant women can cause multiple damages such as loss of speech and chewing, loss of teeth, loss of bone jaw tables and all this can be caused by lack of knowledge concerning that disease. Some of the reasons for which the periodontal disease is presented; iron deficiency, hormone disorders, which lead to serious problems without proper treatment. It is therefore vital diagnosis and timely treatment of the disease. And that with the right treatment can prevent all the problems that we cause periodontal disease. Considering that as antibiotic prophylaxis treatment to periodontal disease has successfully for its effectiveness against bacteria and pathogens. This in order to eradicate the infection, but it should be noted that should not be used indiscriminately as there are drug toxicity risks for pregnant women which would cause harm to the fetus or developing bacterial resistance which would prevent restore oral health, periodontal disease thus evolve to produce its maximum damage, considering that we must try to use antibiotics in adequate doses. In this study the antibiotics that help us in the treatment of periodontal disease and thus restore oral health for pregnant women to come to fruition discussed her pregnancy without problems.Universidad de Guayaquil.
